It’s been a first day back but not a first day back.

I’ve made a few changes and thought I would share with you.

I am offering the following services initially
Pre-order collection by appointment.

Local and national delivery services operating as usual as contactless delivery.

Very happy to be able to re-introduce consultation by appointment for families arranging funeral services .

In order to trade where I feel I am safely trading I have taken the following measures.

1. I have removed the flower stand from the store.
This means I cannot currently offer bespoke while you wait makeup and pick your own stem sale service. This is the area has the greatest level of contact instore.

2. I have created a long serving barrier instore allowing distance to be maintained for customers collecting pre-orders.

3. Introduced a 1 client at a time policy. This combined with appointment based collections and consultation will provide a more personal service.

4. Considered employee safety to ensure that anyone working for me has a dedicated and distanced workspace.

5. Introduced a 2 metre distancing policy anyone waiting to enter.

6. Free delivery for clients who are shielding today their own homes in west bridgford ng2 postcode area and Edwalton.

This has been clearly signed on my doors and windows.

Whilst we steadily build back up, there may be some reduction in manned store times in order to allow me to do deliveries so I would encourage customers to call ahead for pre-order thus reducing contact time.

These major changes have been done to ensure my clients, especially those in vulnerable categories, can visit with confidence and for the benefit of the residential community in Portland Road.

Also I had a really useful visit from the Environmental Health officer today who gave some further guidance and we had a really useful and helpful chat which has made me feel a lot more confident.
